Each participant is
expected to be available for collaborative communication beginning March 6th - until the completion of
all terms. Availability is defined as
regular and timely communication via email, telephone, or other appropriate
methods necessary to make continuous progress with regard to project
deliverables. This includes initiating, receiving and responding. Expected response time is two business days
(unless the ETP Director is informed of a planned absence).

Blackboard Online Course

Each participant is
responsible for completing the VSCU online course associated with his/her
grade-level. This includes (1)
thoroughly reading all components of the online course and submitting a log
of errors/corrections, questions, comments, and/or new content; (2)
participating in the course via the online delivery model and submitting a
log of comments, concerns, or problems relating to the online professional
development model; (3) developing exemplary, grade-level appropriate,
instructional materials for each unit; (4) completing all revisions to
instructional materials as requested by instructor(s); (5) completing the lab
associated with each unit and documenting labs via the electronic portfolio. The above mentioned deliverables will be
due according to the following schedule:

Note: Due to the limited timeframe for this project,
it is important that participants complete units by the identified
deadlines. Participants failing to
meet the first deadline of April 14th will be replaced by a
teacher on the waiting list.

Each participant is responsible
for implementing his/her respective course within the classroom. A log of
lessons-learned, changes, tips, tricks, etc. is expected as one
deliverable.

classroom materials and consumables (to be determined by final course lab
choices)

Each participant
implementer will capture student learning through the collection of artifacts
associated with each unit.
